Pakar Batik began with an idea in October 2023 – we love batik, and we wanted to create a brand that would respect and continue to promote the heritage of Indonesian batik, but to also give a modern take on it that the world can fall in love with.

At Pakar Batik, we believe that tradition and modernity can blend seamlessly to create something truly extraordinary. Indonesian batik is a centuries-old art form rich in history and cultural significance. We are inspired by its intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and the stories each piece of fabric tells. However, we also saw an opportunity to reinterpret this traditional craft for the contemporary world.
